9/11 REMEMBERANCE

September 11 each year the Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee in conjunction with Bannock County and the Cities of Chubbuck and Pocatello are requesting the honor of our fellow Americans presence for the Annual Remembrance of the 9/11 attacks on our country.

At 11:00 AM in front of the Bannock County Courthouse, 624 E. Center Street we will come together as a community to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center attacks, the Pentagon attack and the Pennsylvania Field crash. We also want to recognize those who responded including Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Civilians, and Service Members in the Armed Forces. Join us to honor and pay respect to all those who serve our great country and community, past, current and future.

This will be memorialized annually from this point forward.

The purpose of this committee is to promote awareness and support among Idahoans for those serving their Country and State including Active, Reserve, and Guard personnel for all Service Branches, veterans and their families. the positive impact of their service to our communities is immeasurable.
The Military Affairs committee meets the 2nd Friday of each month, 11:30 am at the Memorial Building.
