Mission Statement
The Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce Beautification Council seeks to engage the community in cooperatively working together to enhance and maintain the beauty of our area.


The Beautification Committee is a group of individuals dedicated to beautifying, and promoting the beautification of our community. This committee organizes a spring cleaning of the trash that collects throughout the year; this is called the city wide clean up. The Committee encourages businesses to beautify their properties by awarding them with the Spirit of the Valley and Chamber Applauds awards. Both programs were established to get the businesses to beautify their places of business by either cosmetic upgrades or new construction. The hanging basket project in Old Town Pocatello was developed and is organized by this committee. This group also works to enhance area pride by pursuing and developing campaigns, programs and opportunities that reflect the positive image of our community.
