Portneuf Medical Center is a regional Level II trauma center with state-of-the-art cardiac services. The Portneuf Cancer Center provides radiation and medical oncology services and has received commendations for clinical trial accrual, cancer registrar education, nursing care and data submission. Portneuf was designated a Blue Center of Distinction by Blue Cross for knee and hip replacement and spine surgery. Our urology program is nationally recognized and we have a Level II neonatal intensive care unit. These are just a few of the 35 services offered by Portneuf Medical Center and its partners.
But more importantly, we are concerned about what happens beyond our doors and how we can partner with our community. The Pocatello Sports Medicine Institute cares for our local athletes both on and off the field; Portneuf Quality Alliance, an innovative health care team, works with employers to manage and control the costs of healthcare; and our partner, The Portneuf Health Trust, was visionary in establishing the Portneuf Wellness Complex. Together, Portneuf Health Partners continue to find new and meaningful ways to extend our reach and improve the health and quality of life for all those in our community.
Join Portneuf CEO Daniel Ordyna as he talks about the ways Portneuf is involved in the community. Then Brent Faure with Portneuf Sports Medicine Institute will explain how amateur athletes and weekend warriors are protected from injury through the Institute.
