It’s springtime in Pocatello Chubbuck, and I couldn’t be happier! But the weather isn’t the only change our community is seeing. This is an exciting time for Pocatello Chubbuck. Our business community continues to grow, chamber memberships are strong, our university is changing leadership, and our Pocatello City Council has voted a new seat 2.

Please take a look at the primary changes we’re seeing in our community:

  •          Travis Quast is the new regional president and publisher of the Idaho State Journal and several other regional publications. Please help him feel welcome in our community.
  •          Last week Beena Mannan was voted in to take seat 2 on Pocatello City Council. We’re excited for this new addition and wish her all the best!
  •          Idaho State University has a new president-Kevin Saterlee. He’ll take the helm in June. Let’s help him in his transition from a Bronco to a Bengal and help each of these leaders feel               welcome in their new roles.

Elevate Leadership Summit is May 17th, put on by Leadership Pocatello Chubbuck and ISU College of Business. For more information go the website:

Polls are open for early voting for primaries in Bannock County-please celebrate your freedoms and rights and get out to vote by May 15.

As our online shopping opportunities grow, please remember to support our local businesses. They work hard for you and for our community, supporting youth sports leagues, non-profits, education initiatives and more. Our local business are vital to our community-eat local, shop local!

Thanks again for all you do to help our Chamber be one of the most vibrant, effective and FUN Chambers around!  Our Chamber members and local business owners are truly amazing.
